Christmas Giving Tree
The tags are on the tree in the Narthex. Please stop by the tree and see how you can help a family in need this year. Gifts need to be returned by December 14.
On December 3, Youth Group will wrap the giving Tree presents that were purchased with proceeds from the Pumpkin Auction!
Mobile Food Truck from Iowa Food Bank
The next Mobile Food Truck distribution is scheduled December 9. The Mobile Pantry Program from The Food Bank of Iowa operates in 30 counties with local food pantries to help fight hunger in Iowa. Volunteers are always needed and the help is greatly appreciated.
Christmas Program & Cookie Walk
The Sunday School Christmas Program is Sunday, December 14, held during worship at 9:00 a.m. Following the Christmas program, we will have our annual cookie walk. This year we will support The Lord's Cupboard.
Each family is asked to bring three dozen cookies, candies, or bars in a disposable pan. Please bring to the church on Saturday, December 13, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Nominating Committee
The Nominating Committee of Bethesda Lutheran Church will be seeking individuals to fill the many roles of officers and board members and to request eligible members to stay on in 2026. Please consider using your skills and talents provided by our Lord to serve your church family.
