Hanging of the Greens, 12/1
First Sunday of Advent with Hanging of the Greens during worship at 9:00 a.m.
Christmas Program and Cookie Walk, 12/15
The Sunday School Christmas Program is scheduled for Sunday, December 15, during worship at 9:00 am.
Following the Christmas program, we will have our annual Cookie Walk. Each family is asked to bring 3 dozen (36) cookies, candy, or bars in a disposable pan. Please bring to the church on Saturday, December 14, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
High School Youth Group
Dec. 4: Wrapping presents for the Giving Tree, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Dec. 18: Movie and pizza, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Love The Lord’s Cupboard Match Opportunity, ends 12/1
The group Love the Lord, Love the Lord’s Cupboard will match up to $2,500 in donations to The Lord's Cupboard food pantry made by December 1. Please send your donations to The Lord’s Cupboard, PO Box 330, Jewell, IA 50130, or drop in the offering plate at Bethesda Lutheran Church (designate the offering for The Lord's Cupboard).
